Pictures of dragonfly Tsuba executed with classical techniques. The Tsuba base is forged from Copper. It has a variety of metals inlayed into the surface including Gold, Silver, Shakudo, Shinchu, and Copper. The design is inspired by many antiques. There are redundant photos that use different lighting angles and diffusion to give a better idea of what the metal really looks like. The Fuchi decorations are designed to work with and add to the scene on the Tsuba. With only a narrow Seppa to divide the two scenes one gets a sense that the two dragonflies are flying around the same cattail. The Kashira design is complimentary, but also stands alone with the dragon fly in a profile view perched upon some reeds. The Fuchi Dragon fly is Shibuichi with Shakudo eyes. The Kashira Dragonfly and eyes are fine silver. |
